Leo Ticheli Leo Ticheli’s approach to photography and visual design is influenced by his four decades career as a director/cinematographer, so he’s always thinking temporally, about the story, about what comes before and after the moment an image is captured. Having spent his boyhood years near London, he makes frequent use of English fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and legends with images captured principally around the British Isles. Mr. Ticheli is the winner of numerous awards for his television work and recently won first place in the Rochester New York Erotic Art Show, the Birmingham Art Association Juried Show, and the President’s Award Blue Ribbon at the Bluff Park Art Show. His work may be seen in the iiis gallery and the British Museum of Erotic Art.
